My name is Phil Chard.
I create art where I draw together both what I see, fear and react to externally
and my interior world of dreams, emotions and ironic curiosity.
Discomfort has a reverence as growth stems from it.
I offer you my core, my intimacies of thought and observation.
Snatching at the edges of the moment, striving to communicate the aches that
aggravate my peace, define my delusion and stagger my comprehension.
Many things inspire me. But complicated musings force my hand sometimes.
To voice my dissent towards memetic tribalism, control,
manipulation and the hubris of indifference.
An undeniable compulsion to make images that express these inner tides.
My hope is that anyone who see these images takes away something useful or at least challenge their own assumptions about what is truely valuable.

“If the artist tells you it’s art – it’s art!
If you like it, it’s good art!”
